Basics
What is They Cheated?
They Cheated is a public-records search tool. You give us a first name, age, and location, and we search publicly available profiles and records to show you potential public matches to review.
Is my search private?
Yes. Your searches are yours alone. The person you search is never notified, and we never share who you looked up.
Who can use it?
Adults 18 and over, for lawful personal use only. See our Terms for the full acceptable-use policy.
Search & results
How does the search work?
We match on public data points like name, age, and location across public profile and record sources, and present potential public matches. Results are signals to review — not confirmation of any activity.
How long does a search take?
Most searches complete within a few minutes. Your report stays in your account, and we email you a copy.
What details do you need?
A first name is enough to start. Age, location, photos, and social handles are optional and improve match accuracy.
Billing
How much does it cost?
Search plans are one-time payments — the exact price is shown before you pay and nothing renews. The optional Social Monitor add-on is a separate monthly subscription, disclosed as such where it's offered.
How do refunds and cancellation work?
Search purchases are one-time, so there's nothing to cancel — if you're not satisfied, email support@theycheated.com within 3 days of purchase for a full refund. Monitoring subscriptions can be canceled anytime at theycheated.com/account, or by emailing support@theycheated.com.
Which payment methods are supported?
All major cards, plus the wallet options shown at checkout.
Privacy
Is my information secure?
Yes. We collect only what's needed to run your search and deliver your report. See our Privacy Policy for details.
I appear in a result and want it removed.
Email support@theycheated.com with the profile link and we'll process a removal after email verification.
